My personal understanding is that if the person is of Scandinavian heritage it likely has an E in the last syllable. If other extraction, it has an O. Most people misspell the name of the big window company. It’s AndersEn; not AndersOn.

My hubby is Swedish on his mom’s side, so I get that :-)

I’m just wondering which is the correct spelling, and has anybody found an obit for her?
