So I’m sitting here watching Tucker Carson interviewing two of the Electors making their case for why they are lobbying the other electors to not elect Trump. One is a Republican Elector from that bastion of caucuses... Colorado.

I’ve said on this board several times that I would be very concerned with faithless electors in the event of a narrow win. Imagine had this wound up where Colorado was the state that got us to 270.

I still do not trust the six Utah electors. It’s unimaginable that 37 would flip. But, do not be surprised if there are more than a few who withhold their vote.

I remember 2000 when it came down to a single elector to elect GWB. And the RATS were howling. Those electors were alternately threatened with death and destruction or offered MILLIONS of dollars. In the end, they did their duty. Not sure it could happen like that again in the contentious times in which we live. Not sure that the courage to withstand that kind of pressure in both directions still exists in this PC culture where we bring in puppies and ponies to assuage the sensitive feelings following a lost election...
