Ivanka Trump recently appeared alongside her father, President-elect Donald J. Trump, and surrounding family members in their first postelection interview, in New York City. The 35-year-old businesswoman wore a nude short-sleeved dress and opted for gold accessories, including a $10,800, 18K yellow gold diamond bangle from her eponymous jewelry line.
Soon after the interview it was revealed that one of the fashion mavens employees sent an email to journalists offering style details on the expensive bangle.
Seeing as Trumps eldest daughter is heavily scrutinized by the press and media alike, for the conflict of interest that lies in promoting her own business at high profile political appearances, it didnt take long for social media users to take issue with Ivanka hawking her own expensive bangle on the segment. Many users felt that Ivanka was using this important interview as a marketing opportunity.
Ivanka Trump brand president President Abigail Klem said in a statement that a well-intentioned employee was to blame for the release who is still making adjustments post-election. We are proactively discussing new policies and procedures with all of our partners going forward, said Klem.
This isnt the first time Ivanka has worn and promoted her own design.
In fact, throughout her fathers campaign, Ivanka was spotted in many pieces from her own label. She notably wore a $138 sheath dress from her clothing line to introduce Trump before he accepted the Republican Partys nomination for the presidency at the Republican National Convention, back in July. Shes worn a number of other dress and shoe styles from her collections to appearances during the political campaign. Self-branding will always be controversial for high profile figures, especially for those with political ties, but it doesnt seem like Ivanka plans to change.

More manufactured controversy. We’re already knee-deep in bull $hit from the left, and Trump hasn’t even taken office yet.
Right now you can’t leave a comment there. I’m sure they’re getting slammed.
They’ve done this multiple times before - “Trouble loading comments” when they run a hit-piece. And they think nobody is on to their little game.
If that’s all the LSM has to complain about, they must be desperate for some real news!
Was it a woman who delivered this petty BS?
$10,800 is not an obscene price for jewelry. These idiots are hopeless.
Free air time; free advertising. Entrepreneurship, guerilla marketing.
Compare that with, say, millions from Saudi Arabia and other terrorist nations building the Clinton Foundation with $500M???
Maybe they are upset that she’s not wearing some other high end makers clothes and accessories, since that is “tradition” with the first family.
I’ll bet there is a bit of issue with she can create her own and not give sales to other high priced clothes and accessory makers.
I’d also bet if MO or her kids started a line of items to sell it would be just swell with the media.
“Stuff” that we probably paid for.

The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
Parent companies include: Disney, Comcast, Time Warner. Don’t patronize these hostile operations.
Doesn’t the first wookie have $10,000 sneakers?
So are they saying she should have worn another persons design and promoted them. Should she have worn a twist tie from bread packages? Wow the aducity of her to want to look good at this “important” interview with such hard hitting questions. Give me a break
“P.S. I wouldn’t mind seeing her with ONLY the bracelet on.”
Well, she was wearing a beige dress, which of course was referred to as “nude.” The MSM never miss a trick.
Beautiful bracelet! I hope her sales go up from the exposure. She is earning her own money, working hard, and is great example of a businesswoman, wife, mother, and daughter.
She is wonderful roll model for all women.
But during the Oscars liberals are good with people pulling up in limousines 20 feet long, stepping out wearing a wear-once dress costing $20,000, decorated with million dollar jewelry, then go inside and bash America and particularly conservatives for using too much of the world’s resources.
Is there a “real” news blackout or something? LOL
Thanks...very pretty...
