Here’s a true story. Back around 1969, I was doing some undercover work and was probably visiting the SDS headquarters at Thomas Circle. A couple of local prostitute were working the circle right next to the church.
One approached me, about noon, and said, propositioned me. Without intentional thinking about what to say, I said, “No thanks, I’ve already eaten”.
Now I can LMAO at that reply.
On Tu Do Street in Saigon, I was known as “Skinny” and asked to buy the girls “Saigon Tee”. Not a chance.
That depends on your definition of “area.”
