What we did in the 60’s once an offending nest was id’ed was take a cup of KNO3 + Sugar that had been thoroughly mixed and dump it in the nest after you created a depression in the nest with a shovel. Light it with a flare or butane torch and stand back and enjoy the show. The column of fire and the roar was quite impressive. The nest was “nuked” insomuch as there was a glassy pit and the heat killed everything below it.
Be aware the fire dept may be called due to the smoke/fire and noise if you are in a populated area. LOL
