What about wearing a safety-pin that’s OPEN, you know, with the pointy part sticking out.
Or maybe an OPEN safety-pin used as the slash in the universal NOT symbol? Anybody here with good photoshop skills?

One of the first things that would help ALL America along is lose the -american thing.
