While President Barack Obama, defeated 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and President-elect Donald Trump have all called for unity, PepsiCo CEO and chairperson Indra Nooyi has instead chosen to stir the pot.
She did so Thursday at the New York Times DealBook Conference in Manhattan by issuing unnecessary attacks on her future president.
How dare you talk about women that way! she exclaimed in a statement at the conference, referencing comments Trump made while on the campaign trail and in an old Access Hollywood tape leaked last month.

My message to Pepsico :
PepsiCo, I’d suggest that in the future, you tell your Indra Nooyi to keep her mouth shut on political beliefs that rub her ( no pun intended ) the wrong way. My family and friends WILL NEVER purchase another product from you again.
Regards,
People on FR need to get serious about boycotting.
This crap needs to stop, and our dollars will make it stop!
I only use (occasionally) some corn chips from frito-lay, but it’s rare.
I do prefer pepsi products over coke products, though.
In any event, it’s very easy for me to boycott pretty much anything since I rarely ever even use processed foods of any kind. I do have to carefully select my basic food stables though like flour, salt, shortening, sugar, yeast, baking powder/soda, cooking oils, frozen veg., fresh fruits, fresh meats etc.
I make/bake ALL of my own cakes, pies, cookies, breads, treats and cook my meals from scratch only using a limited amount of canned foods...like tomatoes, mushrooms, chopped chili and some cheeses.
Sometimes a person is hindered by what’s available in their local stores, but there are also recipes to make alternate ingredients. :)
I save a small fortune going through the work of making things the way I do, but if I didn’t, I couldn’t afford to eat. My neighbors like it too. Often times they will give me raw ingredients...like a big bag of giant red delicious apples...I will make a big pie and share the pie with them over coffee :)
I use REAL butter in my cookies and sometimes I even make my own butter and my own buttermilk. I just hope Braums isn’t owned by pepsi lol! Love their dairy stuff.
Pies such as mine might cost $15.00 but they might cost ME $1.50...if that...to make it.
A few weeks ago, someone called me up and said, come pick some of my pears, I have too many. So I went and picked 2 large paper grocery sacks of beautiful hard pairs. I took them home, ate a few, and brewed up the rest into a couple of bottles of wine...
A little champagne yeast, a little water, some free pears, a bit of sugar and about 25 cents worth of a bactericide..it cost a dollar for a gallon of premium home made wine.
Who needs brand names when recipes and a little effort are free or cost nearly nothing? Now you know how THEY made a fortune!! Your money is as good in YOUR pocket as it is in theirs!
Faygo and Pringles it is then.
Confirmation of this story here:
Just a day after the election of Republican Donald Trump, Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi took a hard line against some of the comments the next president made about women while on the campaign trail. Nooyi said the disparagement of women is a negative strain in the world that has to be ended.
Forget about the Pepsi brand. How dare you talk about women that way, Nooyi said on Thursday morning, referring to comments Trump made on the campaign trail and in an Entertainment Tonight video roughly a decade ago that surfaced in October. If we dont nip this in the bud it is going to be a lethal force in society, Nooyi added, in comments made at the New York Times Dealbook Conference in Manhattan.
Hard to boycott everything.
Soros has his nasty fingers in just about everything.
I quit watching teevee for the most part.
As far as food and drink very rarely eat out, I cook from scratch and buy generic.
Well been meaning to cut my caffeine intake anyway so their goes the Dew
I quit drinking that Pancreas Poison years ago.
My health and vitality increased substantially.
{:-)
Only product I will have trouble with is Tropicana orange juice. The rest of them I can and do live without.
For you fellow tea drinkers (iced of course) I recommend Luzianne as an alternative to Lipton. It's better tea.
"...The Luzianne name is steeped in Southern heritage. Luzianne began life in 1902, when William B. Reily, who owned a wholesale grocery business, moved from Monroe, Louisiana to New Orleans. In New Orleans, he changed his emphasis to coffee and tea.
By 1932, the Luzianne brand was established throughout the Southeast, as was its reputation for selling the regions finest coffee and tea. Today, Luzianne is still revered as the gold standard of Southern refreshment..."
BTTT for some of your recipes.
I cook from scratch too.
I never liked Pepsi anyway. Boycott all Pepsi products.
OK.. given that picture.. no pussy grabbing.
We’ll leave that to her immediate family.
I just laid a line in granite with some friends.
I’ve had enough of being their frenemy everytime I come over.
The election is over, I never joined in any conversation about it to avoid joining in their crusade of very personal remarks.
If this continues I’m done coming over.
I don’t call them names but, they never fail to call me asinine pejorative.
So today, I have to here crap about Trump doing business with Keith street and the house. “What happened to your buddy draining the swamp? “
Informed them I was fine him going to K Street and the house. How is he suppose to get anything done?
“Oh now! I love how he betrayed you. He is going to be just another politician and not drain the swamp of those guys”.
I responded “You obviously want us to cry or something as you pretend he said something he never said. What he did say was he going to change the bureaucracy and he has already started at EPA.”
!KcuF. I really am not interested in being on the opposite side of every visit for doing nothing more than coming by to share in friendship and things we have in common.
I am beginning to conclude it may very well be time to move on.
I have better things to do and really an finding these visits uncomfortable and unpleasant.
GTF over yourselves. Your side didn’t prevail but, really, life will move on.
Without politics and your constant stuck in the slow lane of stupidity there ought to be other things we can do or talk about, since you can’t be an adult have a reasoned or rational conversation.
The election is over for everyone except you.
Get a effin life and move on.
They own Yum brands. Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut.
