A friend of mine told me that he heard on the news in California that 13% of illegal aliens admit to voting in the last election. It goes without saying that the actual number is higher than the 'admit' number.

Only the heavy thumb of California makes the twisting of the American Dream possible. It's a pretty heavy thumb-- one out of eight Americans lives in California.

Yeah, it is a heavy thumb - and a totally dysfunctional one. If it were not for the anchor of California, America could get going again. It is like trying to run a race with a 30lb lump on your leg!
49 states are sane. Maybe 49.5, but that last 0.5 sucks.
