Taran Killam got himself into trouble when he tweeted “Rural = so stupid” Tuesday night.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star took a lot of heat for his tweet, which was seemingly in reference to election results from those living in rural areas.

I guess “stupid” might depend on if you’re looking down the barrel of a rural redneck’s AR-15 or shotgun barrel at the moment to guys like Killam if they just happen to be trespassing on their property....

I could imagine when he dies his hell might be being trapped ina living room where his only choices on his 23” Zenith TV are “The Beverly Hillbillies”, “Green Acres” and “Andy Griffith”. (He doesn’t get to watch “Petticoat Junction” because those rural girls can be quite pretty).

Because our decaying cities are full of rocket scientists.
I wonder, how many blacks in the inner city and Mexicans in the barrio have advanced degrees, and why is their lack of education never held against them? Similarly, why doesn't the fact that liberal Democrats do overwhelmingly well among these classes of "low information voters" ever get held against Obama or Hillary?
Some forms of stupid just can’t be fixed
Hmmm... I live in rural PA, have three bachelor degrees and two masters and I know multiple PhDs who, like me, voted for Trump. I guess we don’t measure up to... (What’s his name again?)
I wonder what would happen if he called those in the inner city “stupid”
Voted yesterday in a little country church in Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. Took 47 minutes to go through the line. There were farmers, housewives, mechanics, oil field workers, a fireman, several retired couples, mothers with kids. I’d wager that anyone of the hard working, church going, family supporting rural folks in central Oklahoma know a hellova lot more about life that this individual.
