South Jersey here as well. Light crowd but I was there very early. In and out in 5 minutes. I am in a fairly Republican town (we have no Dem on the ballot for council), but the surrounding county is pretty blue the closer you get to Philly. Still, I have not seen much overt support for Hillary, few signs and fewer bumper stickers. Obama/Biden was all over the place before. Trump Pence signs outnumber hers, and I also see a lot of pro-police/Blue Lives Matter signs, which I take as probably Trump voters.

Your vote maters anywhere.

I Just got back, put on my bright red jacket and walked across the street. Literally.

Two people there, one leaving as I walked up, he told me to watch the machine, they might be rigged. It old him don’t worry, I’lll be watching it close.

No problems, voted straight repub, but did it individual votes, not the straight ticket button.

I was expecting more people, but maybe out here in the boonies we don’t get many at a time, that’s what it was like in the 90’s when I was here before. In the primaries I had to wait in line about 10 minutes but not bad, 2 democrats the whole time, line out the door for republicans. That was in town though, first time to vote there.

Dear Washington,

America is coming,

and they’re bringing Donald J Trump.

Here in North Florida, as of 10:00 AM this morning we have had over 58.8% of Republican vote (absentee, early, and today) My Supervisor of Elections has a running tally on the counties website.

Ohio here too. Cuyahoga County Polling loction inside a CMHA apartment building. No parking available! I had to park 2 blocks away and then wait for a booth to open up once inside. Normally I waltz in and out, saw a lot of smiling faces wearing some sort of red today. Wow...deep in the heart of blue territory, could it be? Go Trump!

Just voted in SD. Dozen people ahead of me, a dozen in line when I left. We use paper ballots. They had ten little private voting stalls set up and all were occupied. There was also a table in the middle that you could use if you didn’t care about privacy. I took a seat in the middle of it and caught a glance of the top bubble of those surrounding me as I sat down. The five I saw (each beside me and three across from me) were Trump. Not a big surprise given my district but thought it was kind of interesting as no one made any effort to shield their ballots at all. I noticed several didn’t even slide them into the plastics sleeves to insert them into the ballot box but just put put them in the slot.

I still haven’t received my absentee ballot and I’m in one of the key counties. I’m pissed.

If you haven’t received an absentee ballot, go to your polling place or to your registrar of voters and cast a ballot by whatever means they use for that. Provisional ballot, etc.

I drove around my neighborhood a couple of days ago and looked for signs. One Trump sign, one Hillary sign. The Trump guy gets extra credit because in addition to the sign he painted "TRUMP" on his exterior wall.

I think this bodes well for Trump. Why? Well, if you were inclined in the past to put signs up but this time choose not to, there are a few possibilities.

  1. You don't like your candidate (i.e. weak support)
  2. You are uncomfortable with people knowing who you support
Because in South Jersey there are no social implications in supporting even the most leftist democrats, Hillary supporters won't be ashamed so they fall mostly into bin 1. That's a bad place to be. On the other hand Trump will have some in Bin 1 but I think most of his supporters fall into bin 2. I'll take support that will only show up in the voting booth over support that stays home.

Thanks for your advice. I spoke with my county office this morning. Records show they mailed my ballot Nov. 2, but I haven’t received it yet. The lady said because I’m military I have until Nov. 15 to send it in once I receive it. Hopefully it’ll arrive any day now. She seemed very helpful.

If you’ll allowed to vote today, do it today, if you’re sitting in the USA today. If you’re out of the country and still waiting for the paper ballot, forget about it getting to you and then back to them in time. People out of the country can vote online and fax that ballot it.

Thank you, cba123. I voted this morning at 8:10 AM. No matter the outcome, I feel good about that.

The registrar said there’s no way to do that for Bucks County. If I could, I would.
