A saw JJ Cale live at a small club sometime in the early 70s. It was just as you might expect: very laid-back, like watching someone perform from a chair on his front porch.

JJ Cale’s Naturally album was a wonderful thing, all the future hit covers it would inspire:
“Call Me the Breeze”
“Clyde”
“Crazy Mama”
“After Midnight”
The first time I head JJ was on a little plastic record on a box of cereal, (yeah I dating myself) song was Magnolia, and still one of my favorites to this day!
I had Naturally on eight track.
Brings back memories. I used to open my show with this song back in my youth DJ days
