Well, he does say "I'm doing this for the people..." But, the focus there is entirely away from Trump himself. So, that's a great observation about a great ad. The ad paints Hillary as a part, but only a part, of the corrupt global elite that more and more people recognize as the real enemy. Then it ends up with a strong focus on the people themselves.
IMO, the only thing the producers might have done better is show a couple images of Hillary in the dark glasses, or maybe that one of her drunk on her plane. And, spend $24 million on it, not $4 million.
