I think they are so trapped within their own fantasy world that it is only now fully dawning on them that African American voters aren’t going to turn out at tsunami levels like they did for Obama.
Electing the first Black president was something magical to African Americans. I despise Obama but I understand their feelings. Electing the America’s first openly-corrupt old white woman is not.

Never was a big fan of the Bushes but still unbelievably disappointed in their behavior this cycle. Corruption needs to be rooted out wherever it is found, Republican or Democrat. This country can't be put back on a sustainable path until people see that ALL are subject to the law.

Obama empowered Hillary Clinton to be his Secretary of State, knowing full well what a scoundrel she was. Whether he knew about her server or not, and to whom she was selling influence, it was his job to supervise her and fire her. Her actions have disgraced his administration. By covering up for her, Obama owns every crime she has committed.
Maybe two years ago I had mentioned what an ingenious money-laundering scheme this was. HOW could you make it illegal? Conservatives and free market types would be the first to say that government has no business regulating the price of a product and that people should be free to earn a living.
There is no way to effectively legislate ethics or morality.
