I have an interesting question. Should Trump get a lot of credit for hammering the Hillary corruption issue? What if someone like Mitt or Jeb or Kasich or Rubio had been the nominee? Would they have pursued Hillary as tenaciously as DJT?

What they’ve already done — lose. This is out likely BECAUSE they’ve lost.
The loser era might finally be coming to a close. Judging by the intensity at the Trump rallies it will come to a close at some time later if not now.
They would have apologized for the sexist, misogynistic attacks on Hillary Clinton.

They would send a “Hang in there” tweet to Hillary.
They would say that they consider Clinton a friend but disagree with her on the issues.
There is a slim chance Rubio might have gently raised the issue. But most likely they all would have said, “The FBI closed the book on this. I’m not going to get into the dirt trying to reopen a closed issue that would only stir up hard feelings. Republicans fight like gentlemen. It is for the good of the country, don’t you know.”
Being a coward is quite easy in the short run.
It would have been along the same lines as McCain’s “decent man” comments about Obama. And probably for the same reason McCain said it; their paid consultants would have told them to. And regardless, the media would have still attacked the Republican candidate just as viciously.

People say that Trump should focus on the economy, but that’s all Romney discussed. Not in the same way Trump does though.
They would do nothing as they have done along with most of the republican party who have criticized Trump while saying nothing about Clinton the criminal.
Call a 2pm press conference yesterday, apologize for the US rule of law, and drop out of the race
Rubio is the example. He said the emails and Wikileaks should not be read or discussed since they were obtained illegally. He, like Mittens and Jeb, is more afraid of being outed himself than exposing the underbelly of Democrt politics.
