Clinton goes to war on FBI for 'extraordinary' decision to reveal fresh investigation...

Now it's Hillary Clinton's campaign that is hitting the FBI – after the bureau announced Friday that it is reopening an investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails after developments in an unrelated case.

The Clinton campaign fired off a stern statement Friday 'in response to the letter sent by FBI Director James Comey to eight Republican committee chairman in Congress' – suggesting at the outside that some sort of partisan action was at play.

'It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election,' Clinton campaign chair John Podesta wrote in the official statement, the campaign's first comment since stunning word broke that Clinton's emails were back under the microscope at FBI headquarters.

It was the campaign's first official comment. The candidate did not respond to shouted questions as she got off her campaign plane at a campaign stop in Iowa.

What’s really sad is 95% of Americans have never heard of James Comey, even after today. They will have no clue.

What I believe is the ability to obfuscate, distract and distort will become increasingly less available to people like Comey and Clinton.

Fox had Catherine Herridge on a while ago. Said that if classified info was on a device outside those State Deptartment’s employees, that would be a crime Comey couldn’t cover up, much as he would NOT want to deal with it 11 days out from an election.

That’s a riot that Podesta was the author of the statement. He’s next on the FBI list.

'It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election,'

It is also extraordinary that we would see something like a serial liar, serial felon, and serial abuser of her rapist husband's victims lying to the FBI under oath when she had the chance to clear this up well before the presidential election. She inflicted this on herself. Good riddance.

The next CNN Talking Point will be that the FBI had no business investigating Weiner or Huma.

That puts the Clinton campaign in the position of fighting the FBI and defending a sexual predator of children.

I'd say that's an uphill climb. Good luck with that CNN.

That thought occurred to me earlier in the car too...you may have something here and perhaps the Weiner connection here on this relates to that...what role does Weiner play in Clinton ops? They have some reason for putting up with him...

I am sure the FBI hopes that this will take the heat off all the other scandals like all the pay to play stuff. And all of the stuff in the Wiki emails and Reddit materials. some of it leading right back to the leaders of the FBI.

No one should let them get away with that. Congress needs to be on the ball.

Mrs. Watergate is complaining?

Let's all remember that Caspar Weinberger was indicted just four days before the George H. W. Bush v Bill Clinton election, so election-changing indictments have been done to Republicans.

In Weinberger's case, it greatly benefitted the rise of Bill Clinton, so it's the height of hypocrisy to complain about it now.

Comey has his fall guy now. Can blame the botched investigation on McCabe.
