This was bad but the real story here is jury nullification, something we can expect to see more of as the government grows ever more tyrannical. A small miracle the jury used the power of nullification; a power all courts are loath to mention. However, the judge and the Feds showed their contempt for the will of the people by not releasing the defendant and then shooting the defense lawyer in court. The Fed is out of control.

"How can the federal judiciary be independent and impartial when the law permits the federal government to secretly award judges up to $25,000 in undisclosed secret cash awards, and to privately, secretly and erroneously overpay them up to $10,000, then waive these erroneous overpayments?" I wonder if that's realty true.... If it is, it would seem to be in violation of all sorts of different laws...(?)

deeply divided. And I think we should somehow, some way, just split.
Esp if Hillary wins.

But the real real story here is that there has been NO national reporting on this, even Drudge doesn’t have it (or I missed it) It should be the flashing red light topic!

"No, he's released on these charges. He's acquitted. Nevada doesn't have jurisdiction," Mumford yelled, standing before the judge. "If there's a detainer, show me."....... Um, what part of "Federal indictment" did he not understand? Lodge a protest if you wish, but come on.

It wasnt until 1895 that judges started to refuse to allow juries to know that they had the power of nullification of bad law.Judges and prosecutors definitely don't want the public to know about this.

Bizarre!
The Oregon Standoff trial has completely backfired on the Obama administration, and wow!

He was cited for failure to comply with a federal lawful order and disturbance and released with a Jan. 6 date to return to federal court....
But observers who were close to the arrest decried the use of force against a lawyer in court.
“What happened at the end is symbolic of the improper use of force by the federal government,” Mumford’s co-counsel J. Morgan Philpot said......
