[Yes, I’m a newbie but lurked here for a long time before registering. I *certainly* know all about Lazamataz’s formidable ‘hit’ list! ;) ]

I can’t wait for the current regime to end and for the world-at-large to recognize its figurehead(s) by another infamous name: Ceaucescu. With all the ‘trimmings’.

Meanwhile, I didn’t know where to post that I voted early today in a small western North Carolina town, and that the largest campaign sign staged outside the polling place read TRUMP/PENCE 2016. :) The sign was probably six feet wide and three feet tall and was affixed to metal farm fence stakes! (It won’t be stolen anytime soon!)
I was politely hustled in the parking lot by a woman handing out democrat voting guides. I just as politely declined to accept one.
There was a LINE of people waiting to vote (mid-morning Friday) but I soon learned this was because only nine voting machines had been set up. (During the Primary there were at least three times as many.)
Curious as to how the new “No ID Required” edict was being observed, I was somewhat relieved that I *did* have to [verbally] provide my full name and complete address. This info enabled the precinct worker to generate a unique-to-me NUMBERED ballot, which was then linked to my vote(s), while a paper ‘cash register’ style roll recorded each one of my selections in a glass-covered ‘window’ visible to me at all times.
Felt GOOD to cast my vote for Trump after all this time!
