While eating at a restaurant in west central Pennsylvania on 10/27/2016 I noticed a man reading a large pile of newspaper clippings. Having subscribed to a clipping service years ago, it was obvious the neatly cut and folded news articles had come from such a service.
The man was a Democrat in some capacity, based on a brief interaction, that was displeased with the amount of free advertising that Trump had received.
What do you yourself think about this? Was he friendly or friendly-distant, did he talk with you or express a desire to do so? Was he abstracted by what he was reading? Was he from PA or some other state i.e.did you see his license plate? Young? Old?
Should have dropped your soup on his pile of clippings

Probably reading about the “Trump house” off Route 982 in Latrobe/Unity Twp. area. The woman who owns the house is also giving away Trump campaign materials and merchandise.

Clipping service? Actual news clippings? In a folder? What are you, time traveler? This is the 21st century. Nobody is using a clipping service.

That’s what attracted my attention. The Democrat had what looked like the product of a clipping service. I used one for national sales leads over fifteen years ago.
He may have been. I made three passes to and from the food bar. Each clipping seemed to be negative. There were at least 20+ clippings.
The ones I saw were all evenly clipped.

I didn’t see him eating when we arrived. He spent about a half hour reading the clippings. One clipping he read several times. He seemed a bit despondent.
Hillary signs in the area are conspicuously absent with the exception of a rare few in a college town. Trump signs, OTOH, are everywhere.
