I’ve been doing it for about twenty years, in a quiet suburban district with about 800 registrants. I’ve gotten to know many of them (the ones who show up for off-year elections and primaries in particular) and even the RATs seem to be nice enough folks.
I wonder, though, if we’re going to get a notice to NOT wear red while working the polls as any indication of partisanship by board workers is forbidden. Since the wearing of red has been publicized as partisan for Trump, it will not surprise me if such an order comes down.
RED also stands for “Remember Everyone Deployed”
A shirt with that on it would show support for our military.
