THANKS OK so I have a handful of CDs on my desk here, and one of them is actually Carole King - Her Greatest Hits.
Going Wild (1958)
No too many people know that Carole King wrote songs made popular by the Drifters such as “Some Kind of Wonderful”.
Her songwriting catalog is kind of mind boggling.
IIRC, she wrote “Locomotion” that was recorded by her 16 year old babysitter, “Little Eva”
How about
“It’s Too Late Baby”?

So, who was Carole singing about when he walked into the party? “You’re So Vain”

Not sure, but if you listen carefully to the refrain, you will hear the unmistakable voice of Mick Jagger as he joins in.
You’re so vain was by Carly Simon.
“I’m often confused :-/
