Her family says she suffered a stroke at age 11 that left her bedridden. I was on complete bedrest for 6 weeks and I swear I could feel my muscles atrophying. Sounds like they never got physical therapy for her, add in her elephantiasis and fluid retention and she’s trapped in a miserable cycle.
There’s always hope. Now the issue has international attention.
Her family obviously love her, and want to help her.
