$700/month to $1100/month BCBS in Mississippi. Simple redistribution of wealth via the insurance and health care industry.

Just curious——why is there such a wide range of hikes——from less than 29% to an astonishing 93% ?

Medical Insurance through employer. My portion, 5054 a year in 2016 to 8598 for 2017. Deductibles and copays and scripts up as well. Between no raises, layoffs because jobs given to H1Bs and outsourced jobs “offshore”, my survival in the job market is looking pretty bad. Vote Trump!

Curious, what’s your deductible per person or for the family ?
Last year I took the plan with the highest deductible, 3400 per person or 6800 for the family, but the premium was a lot less over the most expensive plan I used to have, my share went from $6000 per year to about $1500.

Of course, if I actually have to use the effin thing I am screwed ,but I’ll be damned if I give it to them in premiums ahead of time.

Used to pay about 20 grand between the company and myself with no deductible , now that same plan has a 1500 deductible
