California State University Fullerton listed dozens of words as “inappropriate” because they’re too gendered, including “secretary,” “workmanship,” and “man-made.”
The list is part of an Inclusive Language Program, which several other universities have also adopted.
CSU-Fullerton asked students to suggest what words and phrases “you want people to eliminate.”
Princeton recently backpedaled after putting out a similarly restrictive “inclusive language” guide.
“Secretary” is an exclusive word that’s inappropriate to use, California State University Fullerton told students on a handout about gender-inclusive language. Instead, use “administrative assistant,” the guide said.
Also off-limits: “Mankind,” “man the desk/phones/tables,” “hey guys,” “man-made,” “workmanship,” “hey, dudes!” and “the common man.” And don’t even think about using “man” or calling someone “Mrs. or Miss,” or more than a dozen other words and phrases.

Yeah, I can see how a "person entrusted with secrets" would be obsolete for "secretary" considering this actions of the recent Secretary of State.
(And, by the way, in Latin secretarius is masculine.)
That is the problem... once they get out into the real world. After a period down the road they will be the people in the position of authority. This tripe will then be spread across the land as it is already starting to infect their minds.
However are they going to address the former “Secretary” of State? Hey Administrative Assistant of State? I prefer hey beotch but with an i instead of an eo.

Unfortunately our universities are becoming taxpayer paid, as in don’t bother to repay your student loan, daycare for minorities. While the universities involved may be able to show increases in enrollment, the thing that would alert serious prospective students that there is a problem would be a lack of corresponding increases in graduates. With more people home schooling they children, there is a real crisis in the secondary education market for a decent universities to send these children to.
Yet more proof that “educators” are often LIB idiots with pinheads and misshapen heads.

A university today is a place where you come out more stupid than when you went in.
I think the majority of us would likely agree that you teach yourself in college, for the most part. I think we will see a growth in online education, with access to ‘real people’ to ask questions from etc. It's much cheaper, and potentially better, as you don't have to worry about whether or not you took good notes during class, etc. In the end, it really should be about whether or not you learned the material, and this can be determined by standardized examinations that everyone has to take - including those who go to an Ivy university. Not only does this assure competence in the subject matter, but it also allows for a comparison among groups, such that one can see if its really worth it to spend what it costs to go to a ‘top rated’ university.
The war on words will shortly morph into the war on thoughts.
So instead of man-made climate change? Human-made? oh wait, human has the word man in it. Person-made? two legged mammal made climate change?
I bet the old 1930s socialists/communists are rolling in their graves saying, Wait a minute, you’re just being stupid now. That’s not what I meant at all.
What about penis, vagina, boy, girl, breast, testicles, womb, and all the other things that distinguish males from females...good grief people get a life. And by the way what moron is being paid with public tax dollars to waste those dollars by making up this crap!
The thing is. There aren’t enough attitude adjustments and knuckle sandwiches being given out. I don’t mind if women participate.
