LOL! My point was that she was VERY attractive but opted not to spell out what a B she turned out to be. I will admit I wan’t any saint but what she did to alienate the kids was unconscionable. Ironically, when they got out of school, they both moved in with me and the new wife, whom they call “Mom” and staged into the world from here. The son is in Charleston, SC with wife and grand baby and has his own business. The daughter is in upstate NY working as a nurse with 3 grand babies.
My current wife - celebrating 25 years next April - has been known to quip that she loves me despite me -— God knows I love this woman.
We have to “forget that which is past” and “press forward to
the things that are before” and not get caught in the gall
of bitterness in our lives. All of us have “stuff” to try
to forgive and forget. It’s difficult when the offending
party or parties have never even verbally at least,
acknowledged that they did anything wrong. One consolation
for me is that the “other” woman is as OLD at this point
as I am. I don’t know if she’s living or dead; but hubby
is even at this point, well over 40 yrs. later, WELCOME to
latch back on to her IF she would even fool with him at
this point. - I’ve been a nursemaid to him and a regular
maid, cook and bottle washer. (He’s had NUMEROUS major
surgeries & had to have a colostomy MANY years ago.) I
do not take any pleasure in his pain. His mother spoiled
all those kids and left them emotional cripples in many
ways. The good with the bad. Vows and all that. I still
try. - I did not “make” him stay with me; but I had an
8 yr. old child at the time & he was all set to leave us
& take up with that piece of butt. - I’m 70 and am now
looking at the remaining days of my life very practically.
