Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has paid out its customers who backed Hillary Clinton to win next month's presidential election.
With less than three weeks to go until polling day, the firm declared that Donald Trump's White House bid had imploded and had very little chance of moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in January.
The bookmaker claimed customers had been lumping on the former First Lady in the past week as Donald Trump's campaign became embroiled in a succession of scandals over his conduct.

Either they didn’t have much action on it such that the free publicity from the early payout is worth the risk of loss, or this is a hoax. There’s otherwise zero incentive for a bookie to pay out any bet before the outcome is decided.
Besides, Millenials don't gamble, they're too poor, so not sure who it was supposed to sway.

Paddy Power did the same thing before the 2012 election. If you bet on 0bama over Romney, Paddy Power paid out a couple of weeks before the election. Unfortunately, the gamblers are usually correct. They bet based on their pocket book, not on their heart and soul.

I worked at a pizzeria once where 7 guys (including pizzeria owners) reneged on a bet with 7 other guys.
They were all mobsters.
Word got out that they were coming to the pizzeria and the manager asked me if I had their backs in a fight.
I said “sure”
There ended up being a sit down of the higher ups and it was settled.
But i would have FLOWN out that front door had there been trouble!!!

My favorite joke! I pull it out every March 17 to the annoyance of family and long time friends.
