That wasn't Manhattan/Junction City (where KSU is)....The Day After was filmed in Lawrence, KS. Too bad it didn't get nuked instead of wonderful KCMO and surrounding Missle fields of Central MO (now ICBM-free).

Anyways, I am a KU grad and saw all the commies first hand.

According to the movie, there are ICBM fields on the KU campus.

Here is Ellsworth Hall where I stayed my first year. Looks like Allen Field House can launch a missile ;)
