Colin Kaepernick has not been shy about calling out major public figures. He recently described Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as “proven liars.” But when presented Wednesday with some unexpected criticism from Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the 49ers quarterback actually took the relative high road while saying her comments were “disappointing.”

” I hope for an LT-Joe Theismann moment for Kaepernick.”

I am with you 100% on that one. I am the world’s biggest Bills fan this weekend.

Couldn’t stand the POS because he beat my favourite team Boise State in 2010 who were undefeated and headed for a top 5 ranking. Though I really see it as Kyle Brotzman missing relatively easy field goals not once but twice. BUT leaving that aside, lol, he’s an ungrateful ingrate whose sickness has spread like the plague.

I think the 49er's suckered now they can put him on the field to fail and not have pay him 20 million next year if he gets hurt.

Seeing how most players will take a pay cut next because of Colin he will get hurt

He can hold what opinion he likes; but if he expects loyal Americans to respect that opinion, he has become completely out of touch with reality. If he wants no part of us & our heritage; that is his wish indulged. That is absolutely no reason for any of us, who honor that heritage, to treat him with respect. He is a highly paid dissident. He is no spokesman for any acceptable cause.

Give him the Ryan Leaf treatment. The word was that he was so disliked by his lineman they would let him get creamed.

What an ignorant fool. If the flag was ‘just a piece of cloth’ millions would not have died to uphold the freedom from tyranny that flag stands for.

Now that his contract has been renegotiated so he can play, I hope he gets stomped. All in the course of the game, of course.

Think again, Colin.

“... the flag is just a piece of cloth, and I am not going to value a piece of cloth over people’s lives.”

In that regard, you (Kaepernick) are just a pile of chemicals that should be flushed down the toilet.

He’s a total moron. But I would guess it’s annoying to hear an old Jewish, 1%er, crone lecture him on how to properly protest, and about being black.

“At the end of the day, the flag is just a piece of cloth, and I am not going to value a piece of cloth over people’s lives.

What better proof that he doesn't get it? Doesn't get it at all! Time to ban that "at the end of the day" cliche, along with "optics."

I look at your comment with mixed emotions. I was one of the many that followed that flag into the battles that gives you the right to speak your piece. I followed the 38 million Americans that gave their lives in WW 1 and the 85 million that we lost in WW 2. They were lost because they not only fought for their families, but yours and everyone else’s so we could be the closest thing to perfection and the most desired country in the history of the world to live in.

So the next time you look up at the flag on the pole, remember the price many paid to be here. And the cost of what it took to get here. I may not change your opinion with mine. But I gave it to you to maybe change your education. Just a piece of cloth? If you look close you’ll see the stains from the brave on it.

So as you pass it, lower your eyes. You don’t deserve it. You haven’t earned it yet.
