Bhummer
The late king of Thailand.
I didn’t even know he was sick.
I have friends there
This makes them very sad
They loved their King
There are few ways to make an Thai person show anger in public- They consider it very rude.
But insult their King and you would get an ass beating
70 year reign.
ASK AMERICANS IF WE CARE?
I COULD GIVE A RAT’S BUTT WHO THIS DUDE IS..
I CARE ABOUT AMERICA, OUR PEOPLE, OUR ECONOMY, OUR FUTURE...
WAKE UP VOTERS.
My daughter worked in the same hospital where the king stayed. He was universally loved by all Thais. They would line up every morning to catch a glimpse of him.
Rest in Peace.
Arguably, the best King on Earth during his reign.
Staunch defender of Thailand from communist insurrection, during a time when the communists in the region were among the most brutal and destructive of all communists (the killing fields of the Khmer Rouge were right on the Thai border).
Wise and good, Thailand was truly blessed to have him - he made a real difference for the Thai people. A man of real nobility of spirit - a King among Kings.

While the US battled communist despots in Vietnam, King Bhumibol stood like a solid iron anvil, saving his people from the horrible fate that fell upon their neighbors. He was personally instrumental.

Probably a nice guy, but I am damn glad our founders sought to do away with royalty.
Let me guess, anger issues?
Yet you cared enough to click on this thread and type boorish comment.
Thailand?
RIP.
The bull crap coming out of the media, does have me upset and angry...
but I'll recover when we elect Donald Trump and the Clinton's move maybe to Thailand ....they will leave town, as they are scared to death of The Donald...
My sister in law is Thai, I can attest to this.
Funny story. I believe King Bhumibol was the only monarch born in the United States, namely Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. They have a display in one of the corridors there.
When my brother and his wife were visiting they went there to see it, but after twenty minutes of looking they came up empty. My brother went to the receptionist and said "This is going to sound weird..."
The receptionist looked past him, saw my sister in law, and just said "King of Thailand?" My brother nodded, she pointed and said "That way."
and here I am clicking on to your ‘boorish’ comment also.
I click on all comments..retired with lots of spare time..
anything else you would like to call me? no pain felt.
If I had been him I would have been in 3rd grade before I could have spelled my name.
Thailand?
He was as eligible to be President as Barack Hussein Obama, born in Cambridge MA.
