Years ago, shortly after trading in a minivan for a Mustang, I came upon a broken up deer carcass in the middle of my lane. It was just after a curve, with little reaction time, and no time to stop.
I chose to straddle it, rather than veering off the road or into oncoming traffic, forgetting that I had low clearance. I barely clipped it, but a piece of that meat lodged in the undercarriage.
I didn’t have the means to raise the car or get under it. I removed what I could, but some remained. I had to live with the stench for a couple weeks. It was horrible. And that was venison. I can’t imagine what this guy’s vehicle must smell like.
