My understanding is that wolves can certainly be domesticated, but all the worst traits of “wolf-like” breeds, such as being one-man dogs, rough, prone to property destruction, running away etc., are highly pronounced.

ALSO the PAC mentality may cause attacks I would think.

Reminds me of a kitten I got once. We got rid of it when it got bigger than our Golden Retriever.

Leaving him alone & confined to the back yard all day certainly didn’t help to domesticate him.
