Rosie O'Donnell's teenage daughter secretly married a man 12 years older than her over the summer but hid the news from her famous mother, it was revealed on Tuesday.
The TV host only found out that Chelsea O'Donnell was married when she tried to visit her in the hospital over Labor Day weekend, where Chelsea was staying allegedly because of her depression.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Chelsea, 19, married Nicholas Alliegro, 31, on July 1 at Islip Town Hall on Long Island, New York after eight months of dating. Few knew of the nuptials, including her famous mother.
The exclusive report said Chelsea was hospitalized on Labor Day and Rosie called the hospital to check up on her. However, she was told by hospital staff that they could only release this information to Chelsea's husband. This was news to Rosie who tried to tell the staff member that her daughter wasn't married and this must be a case of mistaken identity. (snip)
As for why she never told her family that she got hitched to Nicholas, a plumber by trade, "they were concerned that [Rosie] wouldn't approve," the source said. But, his immediate family was informed in the days after the wedding took place. "They were shocked but they love Chelsea," the source added.
Chelsea has changed her name on Instagram from Chelsea O'Donnell to Chelsea Alliegro.
"Rosie was disappointed but remained calm after hearing the news," the source told the newspaper, adding that Rosie cut her daughter off financially in light of the news.
Who is the "famous mother" they are talking about? I've read the article 5 times, I didn't see the name of anybody famous.
A child who is wired neurologically normal and then is adopted by gays and forced to endure life in a gay household will no doubt do some strange things.
I wish Chelsea O’Donnell the best and hope she can live a happy life. It probably was pure Hell for her to grow up with a famous, obnoxious parent like Rosie. And now every move she makes will be scrutinized, like her marrying a 31 year old. So what? By itself, that isn’t cause for gawking or insinuations that she’s doing something wrong. I hope she lives a happy, quiet life and the press leaves her alone.
The poor girl has had a horrible life with Rosie. They have had an extremely disfunctionsl relationship, due to Rosie’s lesbianism, for many years. She adopts a family as little more than a publicity stunt to be used to legitimize and further her LGBT agenda with no regard to the childrens’ feelings as individuals or for their mental health. I wish this young woman all the best and hope she can move on with her life and build a happy marriage with her new husband and the children they will bring into it.

She's probably mature beyond her years, being raised by that creature in a chaotic environment. It was probably always a struggle for her on surviving and coping with the insanity of those around her.
So, Chelsea escaped the crazy house (even though she is technically in a “crazy house” now.) Good for her.

Off topic, but I remember Rosie bitched a couple years ago, that her son was interested in the military, and was interested in going to The Citadel for college.
And Rosie bitched that her son was doing that to piss off his liberal mother. He tried to tell her he loves this country and felt patriotic and a desire to be in the military to defend all of our freedoms.
But Rosie being liberal and loudmouth and limited in her perspective, said her son just wanted to make his liberal mother mad.
See, anything Rosie’s kids do, it’s just all about her.
In the different aspects of this crazy story, that is the bottom line. The sacrificing of innocent children on the altar of political correctness.
Ironic, isn’t it, that normal people are now being forced into the closet.
