Okay, I admit that I do not like Al Gore, but this is the first I remember hearing about this. (Not surprising, as this wouldn't get a lot of airtime back then.)

Seems a little out of character for Al, like Bill Cosby out of character.

Now the reason we didn’t hear much about it (besides Gore being a Lib) is that Gore came up with a plot to save his reputation by scaring the hell out of people with his global warming scam equivalent of the zombies are coming. And the Libs helped him by pushing the narrative creating carbon credits. Which washed Gore’s reputation clean as a lamb.
