The Man and Woman Who Could Bring Down Hillary in 60 Minutes
The following is a true story. I have not written it before for a number or reasons.
The incident happened 16 years ago. Some of the witnesses should have conducted a full follow-up of the incident immediately but, to out discredit, we did not. Other witnesses were CIA employees or in other sensitive positions. More than anything else, we thought those involved had suffered enough. Most foolishly, we all though the overriding malevolent actor was about to drop out of public life, so, really, what did it matter.
In reality, we all now realize we failed to do our duties in the aftermath of the event.
It was the night of January 21, 2000. The day before has been George W. Bush’s Inauguration Day, but it was now Sunday evening., and all the “political junkies” had left Washington. All in all, it was a quiet Sunday evening, the perfect time for our group to go to dinner in a wonderful little restaurant on MacArthur Boulevard in Northwest Washington.
Our party of ten consisted of a now-retired SES officer from the CIA and their spouse, also a long-term CIA Clandestine Service officer. Another CIA couple, younger and the protégées of the older couple were there. Another couple included a Vice President of a firm that provided CIA “contractors” and their spouse, a highly placed conservative Capitol Hill operative. Others included a conservative news anchor from a top-10 TV market, and their spouse, a Republican consultant. Mrs. Strac and I rounded out the ten.
In case you wonder, yes, I am being very vague to protect people’s identities, but trust me, with a few very minor “variations” to protect ID’s, they are all very accurate.
We were just beginning our appetizers when the next table, along the brick northwest interior wall, was seated. It was Webb Hubbell, his wife Suzanna and two teen or college age girls, probably his daughters Kelley and Caroline. They were less than 8 feet away.
Those who have seen Webb Hubbell in person or even in pictures, knew he was instantly recognizable. Most of us had also seen Suzanna at DC social events. The two younger girls were unknown to us, but consistently referred to the older couple as “Mom,” “Dad,” and even “Daddy.”
Our table of ten was a happy one. “Our man” had been sworn in the day before after a long post-election fight with VP Gore. Two of our five couples had been to the inauguration, and for all of us, the evening was the end of 8 years of toxic Clintonism.
The Hubbell table was far from a happy one, however. Webb was visibly very depressed, Mrs. Hubbell was furious, and the girls walked in on the verge of tears… and it went downhill from there.
Remember some history. Webb and Hillary had been law partners in Little Rock. He had a brief disastrous tenure as an Assistant AG. He was indicted, convicted and went to prison. After he was released, Kenneth Starr indicted Webb, Suzanna and others in an attempt to get to force them to reveal what they knew of the Clinton’s misdeeds.
Webb was the ultimate Arkansas insider, from the very beginning, and knew all the Clinton’s dirty little (and not-so-little) secrets.
Two days earlier, Bill Clinton has pardoned many criminals. Many of the pardons were the results of obvious payoffs. But Webb, now a convicted felon, was not pardoned.
After a wine or two, Mrs. Hubble lost it. In a clearly audible voice she started berating Webb. There are direct quotes as well as I can remember them after 16 years.
“You are a fool. You trusted her. You could have sent her to prison by simply telling what you knew. But you didn’t, and you took the rap. You trusted her, and you got screwed.”
“I got indicted for a felony, and she, Mrs. Fatass, was the real crook. Why no pardon for you, Webb? Why no pardon for you?”
“Her husband’s “Frenching” girlfriend got a parson for her husband, and we got nothing!” If Mrs. Rich The Whore (Marc Rich’s wife and Clinton lover) was here, I slap her so hard!!!!’
“The bitch’s (Hillary’s) brother sold a bunch of pardons. What did we get? We all got (pointing to girls and herself) got the royal shaft.”
“Hillary is the biggest crook there ever was. Part of the reason she came with him was because she had worn out Little Rock.” With all you know, that could send her to jail, why didn’t you demand a pardon?”
The girls were a bit more restrained (and sober)… but their comments were all along the same line.
In a way, it was very sad.
So. 16 years later, this morning, 7 of who were there that night were on a post-hurricane group call, and remembered it all.
Why didn’t we report it then, or take some other action? In retrospect, all I can remember is that we were so overjoyed that the long-in doubt Bush presidency was about to start, and we were sure Hillary would fade away. We were all sure America was too smart to consider her for anything except Senator from The People’s Republic of New York.
So. now, about that 60 Minutes comment in the headline…. Webb, Suzanna, call the MSM and tell them the truth. Start with Peter Doocy at FNC, and when he broadcasts the story, the rest will follow.
Simply put, 16 years ago, Webb, you and your family got screwed. You can help prevent that from happening to the entire country.
If the Clintons thought Webb might do that he would already be dead in an accident.

Well, Hillary had to have a child .. in order for her marriage to Bill to appear normal to the world.
And .. because of all of Bill’s drug and alcohol use, I always suspected he might have been sterile .. so Webb was the stand-in. I never really thought it was some kind of love affair .. not at all. Just another “deal” the Clintons paid money for .. in order to appear normal. But, Chelsea does resemble him; a lot.
This is just my best guess.

I totally agree with your “suggestion” .. the body count.
I just always wondered if anybody really knew who the shooter was .. because it happened a lot (not just shooting, but air and auto accidents, fires, explosions, etc., so he/she/they must have been done away with in order to be kept silent.
I know .. this sounds like some weird movie script ..!!

Hubbell knows better than to utter a word. Even being Chelsea’s father wouldn’t save him.
Hubbell was too afraid to testify against Hillary years ago. Why would he come forward now that she is a $100 millionaire, a few more Trump FU’s from winning the Presidency, and the owner of the FBI Director? Although he might cause Hillary to lose the election, it would be no sure thing, and no matter what he said, or what hard evidence he produced, Hillary will not be indicted. He and his family will not be safe until Hill & Bill croak, after witch, he can make millions from a tell-all book. Let’s hope he outlives them.
Bill could only pardon a federal offense. I thought Webb’s overbilling was a state offense.
