I’ll still vote for him (the alternative remains unthinkable), but this is bad. It will certainly come up at the debate. I wouldn’t be surprised if Martha Ratsass reads his words verbatim for shock value.

You are absolutely correct. And anyone who doesn't think this is bad isn't thinking straight. Trump better be prepared to deal with this because it will be rehashed the entire evening.

To bad the GOP chose to nominate the one candidate who Hillary could beat.

I will naturally vote foe DJT as well, but agree that this is very bad and he will take a hit from women, but only women who were on the fence as I see it. The thing that bothers me about this is that yesterday I am on social media and I see a post by a good woman friend I work with. I have no idea what her political affiliation is as she has never once brought it up in person, on social media, etc. nor has she even commented on this election. Anyway she was absolutely furious with DJT’s comments about the ill “hanging on” to vote or him. She wrote quite a lengthy diatribe about how he was too insensitive to be POTUS. As I read the comments, it turned out there were 10 women, and 1 man I work with and know personally who chimed in also appalled. Out of the whole bunch I have only heard 1 of them, a women, talk about politics before and that was to ask me a question about Ron Paul. All of them are low info voters, and if I had to bet only 4 or 5 of them will actually vote. However, I am avoiding the whole situation after today’s revelation. For those women who actually follow politics and objectively measure the deeds of HRC vs. DJT and care for our country, They will overlook this or at the very least hold their nose and vote for him. For low info voting women, or women still on the fence... well I’m afraid he is going to take a substantial hit. Especially when the networks are in a full blown feeding frenzy. Even Fox is glossing over the emails and Hurricane to talk about “The Political News of the Day” The Recording. I am just hoping that this was launched early enough to dissipate. It will definitely be a topic at the debate. How DJT handles it will be telling as to how this thing ends.

He has said that he was a happy private citizen and so did not cover-up everything like career politicians do.1

Not so sure. Trump will be prepared for a counter blast if they do. Note the hint by referencing Bubba in tonights statement.
