Rosie O’Donnell claims she had an unexpected run-in with a family member of longtime nemesis Donald Trump. The comedian tweeted about meeting Ivanka Trump in New York on Wednesday.
“@IvankaTrump in a city of 8 million – we meet face 2 face – I thank u [for] listening – mother [to] mother – on this new years week – my best [to] u,” O’Donnell, 54, wrote, referencing the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
Trump, 34, has yet to comment or respond to O’Donnell’s tweet. O’Donell confirmed to Eyewitness News Anchor Bill Ritter that they bumped into each other at around 9 p.m. at the restaurant Nobu.
Her kind words come over a week after the former View co-host called Ivanka’s father an “orange an*s” in response to the GOP nominee’s derogatory remarks from the Sept. 26 presidential debate during which he said O’Donnell “deserves” his misogynistic attacks.
“Somebody who’s been very vicious to me – Rosie O’Donnell. I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her,” Trump, 70, stated during his first face-off against Hillary Clinton.
At the time, O’Donnell reacted by tweeting, “HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT,” along with a subsequent tweet that read: “The 5 mins orange an*s can’t seem to get over. Tell the truth – shame the donald #ImWithHer.”

If true, my sympathies go out to Ivanka and I wish her a speedy recovery from such a nightmarish encounter.
I think that was the time Ivanka got so sick to her stomach she was rushed to Beth Israel...
