They would show Clutch on “Garfield Goose and Friends” (Space Angel was better than Clutch! LOL.)
In the Bay Area, on KTVU, they showed it on Deputy Jay on Saturday mornings. They may or may not have also shown it on Captain Satellite weekdays.
The show was designed modularly, in extended episodes of five segments each. That way, it was amenable to either a daily broadcast Monday through Friday, or a weekly on Saturday.
I grew up in Philadelphia. We had a local kiddie show host named Sally Starr who showed Clutch Cargo and Space Angel cartoons on her program. She also had Popeye cartoons and the Three Stooges.
