This old Army vet gives the Marine SPEC OPS an "Ooh-Rah"!

A fine, reliable 9mm sidearm.

I figured since it wold be carried as a sidearm it would be the Glock 17.

If it’s their lives on teh line....let them carry what they like.

My Kimber 1911 Por Carry is a fine weapon but it’s heavy just like the Colt, at 28 ounces.

I like vintage shotguns, don’t car a lot for pistols of any stripe, except for the 1911. Michael McIntosh was writing about vintage double rifles, but I think the words apply to the 1911 as well, ‘you look down the barrels straight into the heart of history’.

I detest all Glocks and the 19 especially. If I were forced to have one I’d at least prefer a 17.

I ended up settling on the Sig P320. The grip is designed for humans, giving it a significant advantage over Glock.

Love my Kimber 1911 but if I was going into combat, I’d pick a Glock 19

I have a 3rd Gen Glock 19, and it has been flawless.

I wonder if MARSOC diehards will do something similar to VF31’s wearing the HORNETS BY MANDATE. TOMCATS BY CHOICE! patch on their final deployment in the Tomcat.

Needs the Hogue Handall grip. Makes it a new gun. Eight bucks.

I don’t see why we’re asking a bunch of ignorant field operators what tools they want to use when the real firearms knowledge in this country resides in the hands of anonymous Internet keyboard commandos like me. Harrumph!

Good gun. I liked my G 17 Gen 2, but gave it to my boy. He built me an AR. Fair trade.

I’m satisfied with my Browning Hi-Powers. Sleek, fit my hand and point well. All steel.

9mm ball ammo vs 45acp ball ammo, yup, give me the smaller one cause it carries more boolits.

They will need the extra clip capacity to make up for the lighter hitting round.

I would have recommended the “Walther PPQ M2 Navy 9mm”. This is one sweet side arm, build for their type of mission. Please check it out.
