Well when I needed too I normally carried two along with a rifle.
50 plus years of using handguns have given me vast opportunities to carry and shoot a large number of handguns and calibers.
Now my every day carry is a SR1911 or a Glock 23.
A couple of days ago I was carrying my 41 mag while running bears with the hounds.
A 41 or 44 mag with good bullets have no trouble shooting through a large bears skull.
In my opinion, the Glock 19 is the finest pistol there is. But, that’s just me.
Yes, I agree with that.
As long as they’re “extremely well-trained”, maybe they won’t shoot themselves as much as cops do.
I like the Glock 26, as well. And it, too, is one of my carry pistols. But there is just something about the 19 that “plucks all my strings.”
I find it very difficult to develop a true romantic attachment to the ugliest hand gun ever made.
Good choice in merits, plus it’s the closet thing to the “universal world-wide 9mm” there is.
Grenades are really handy as well ......
