Anyone else having internet outages?

Charter internet has been down for about 16 hours. Other providers like Time Warner and Comcast are showing widespread outages. Using phone and data to post this.

Verizon DSL drops dead for 12+ hours at a time once or twice almost every month here in central PA. Always overnight. I don’t know if they have no night shift minding the store, or they’re doing upgrades or maintenance or repairs and are just pretending it’s an outage, or what.

I recently had a several-hour outage on a Cox Communications-provided service. First I’ve had in the 3 months since service began.

Back when Verizon was here, they dropped all wireline service for a day or so - said their switches all failed at once in the central office. No 911 service - at least one house was lost to a fire; can’t recall if anyone died. City of 250k.
