That whole record was real good. SwtichBox Susen, Big Kick/Plain Scrap, big stand outs.
A criminally underrated musician, IMO. Rockpile doesn’t get nearly enough airplay.
Interesting band. For years Nick and Dave Edmunds were signed as solo artists for different labels. They played on each other’s albums along with the other members, and toured together. Depending on who had sold the most records in a particular city they were billed as “Nick Lowe and Rockpile” or “Dave Edmunds and Rockpile”. After years of that their contracts expired, and they signed together as just Rockpile, put out one album and tour, then broke up. That’s rock and roll for you.
