My sister's neighbor, her "adopted daughter", if you will, is trying to raise money to go from Brooklyn to Montreal with a van to rescue as many pit bulls as she can before they are put down this Monday under a new law. My sister is driving up there. (I'd be going, too, if I weren't allergic!)
Please consider donating, and spreading the word on other sites you use.
Do these people fight for the lives of unborn babies as strongly as they do for pit bulls ???

Even worse is the plan to import dangerous ghetto dogs into the country.
Let the people in Montreal deal with them. Why make them our problem?

Now if you were sending a van to remove some of our questionable “refuges”, I’d be all in.
Saving a bunch of dogs, savage or otherwise, well, come on. They’re dogs. As long as they’re put down without pain, fine.

Isn;t it very difficult to get dogs into the US from a foreign country?
Keep in mind that your homeowners insurance will likely not cover any lawsuits from people who get hurt by these dogs—and I’m glad for those policies because they keep my own premiums down. You will be beating your own risk.
Screw the dogs. They are animals, not people. Destroy them & protect HUMAN LIFE instead!

I would think that there is a fair amount of paperwork and expense to bring these pets permanently here.

Have you ever wondered why people are so taken with these stupid, hideous, dangerous dogs? Rescue societies are obsessed with trying to place pits and pit mixes in families! What has happened? I could swear that this is another chaos-inducing behavior that progressives/demons are doing to ruin EVERYTHING that is pleasant about American life...even the happiness we get from a living pooch is wrecked by this absurd K9 political correctness.

No sympathy here for a dangerous animal.
I find it tiresome when someone posts about animals and some Freeper assumes the animal lover cares nothing for human lives. That said, I care nothing for Pitbulls, having had one cold bloodedly attack my own dog.
Sorry - how about using FR as an avenue to save something worthwhile - like human babies. No way I’m going to donate to save a species that has exhibited a LOT of tendencies to suddenly go feral and with deadly effect.

And I have to wonder about people who would discount FReepers for mentioning innocent unborn babies...
