You’re right, but I really liked Ethel, even when she got snarky from time to time, can’t say the same about Hillary. She is a robot that has been fed digested information to spew. Donald’s problem and greatest strength is that he is not a politician. She just knows how to sound good when she lies. He repeats too much and needs to practice in front of a camera and view the tape. I’d hate to see him be stone-faced, just more relaxed with a hint of a bemused expression while she spews, don’t take giant breaths into the mic, etc. Should have hit her hard on the e-mails in connection with security issues.
I don’ agree that Trump “let her off”. He was presented only unfavorable questions by Holt and steered away from his intended points. It was 2 against 1. The RNC should be caned for allowing Holt or any other member or the mainstream media to “moderate” these debates!
Do you all think we are too hard on him because we back him? On line CBS poll has them even. Maybe some of the public viewed her as rehearsed and unnatural. I have to am it the moderator wasn’t too biased. He has to stop thinking the debate is about HIM. They are an out HER and her record of non-performance,lying, grifting, conniving and cheating. Maybe expect too much from me because we ARE snd have been political wonks - but his advisors are better than we are.

I noticed there were several times when Trump made comments when the grin was wiped off her face and you could sense the pucker effect happening.
We may be too hard on him but I want him to have a complete answer to every question. No rambling around and saying the same thing over and over.
I want a few barbs that reveal how corrupt she is and I don’t care if it sounds scripted!
His advisers are intelligent people with experience and know much more than we do but maybe being new to politics, he doesn’t believe them.
I hope they get through to him. We’ve got a country to save!
She “won” the debate by standing up for 90 minutes, speaking coherently, and controlling her left eyeball. Trump was clearly not prepared.
I think she has had an eyelift.
