TCA of ‘68 is a favorite over and above the more recent version. The newest was never seen, admitted, only because no one could ever replace McQueen in the title role.
I like Benny Hill’s “Dustbins on your mind.”
I prefer "Momma's" (played by Vicki Lawrence) imprecation "You've got splinters in the windmills of your mind!"

Out here, this got airplay on stations such as KFI (later to be Rush Limbaugh’s home for two-and-a-half decades) and KPOL, which played “Adult Contemporary” music that appealed to listeners in their 20’s and beyond. It probably didn’t gat a lot of airplay on rock blasters such as Boss Radio KHJ KRLA or KEZY in Orange County.
