House Speaker Paul Ryan says the police-involved shootings in Charlotte and Tulsa, and the resulting violence in Charlotte, were heartbreaking.
And this country has to find new ways of learning how to heal and understand all the different perspectives, Ryan told CBSs Face the Nation.
Each of us have to get better perspectives, get outside of our comfort zones, understand what other people are thinking and saying and what they see, and then try and come up with common-ground solutions. And thats, to me, the kind of healing that has to occur. And youre not going to have that done in the fourth quarter of a presidential election. This is campaign season.

Paul Ryan’s ‘comfort zone’ is having his head jammed up his keister.
And this country has to find new ways of learning how to heal and understand all the different perspectives,
I think of it purely academically. And this sort of thing is why I got my CC permit in February and now carry in my car.
Just in case...
Common-ground solutions
I think Chris Rock’s video on how not to get your a$$ kicked by the police should be mandatory viewing in all predominantly black schools. It will save lives and make our society more civil.
“Paul Ryno capitulates”
Isn’t he the one with the security fence around his house?
What “comfort zone” is this twit talking about? He sounds like the snowflakes at our Liberal universities. I haven’t felt comfortable about politics since Reagan left office.
I know he doesn’t mean it this way but yes, some folks should learn how to live in a civilized world.
Our FIRST Muslim President, Hussein Obama, has done everything he can to incite racial violence in this country. Now the traitors are bussing in paid terrorists to riot and destablilize the government.
There is no accident, it is intentional. It is the only way the Demonrats can win elections. Oh, that and voter fraud.
Paul Ryan is at best a useful idiot.

“Paul Ryans comfort zone is having his head jammed up his keister.”
Couldn’t have said it better. What a huge disappointment this arrogant wanker has been.
This squish is nauseating. I notice a concerted effort to rehabilitate the quisling.
Oh we understand
Millions of people are being fed a deliberately incendiary line of bullshit and lies about victimhood and injustice, and they are eating it up because being on the streets and destroying stuff is the progressive American left’s desperate version of the Roman circus
Now, let’s really understand who is running this disinformation and why
How about that mr Ryan?
“get outside of our comfort zones,” - That sounds like Obama, when he is lecturing us on how evil we white Americans are.
Wonder if Ryan will go about without his armed bodyguards. That would get him out of his comfort zone. The sad reality is that there are very rational reasons why America is a divided and segregated society by race and class. Ryan is obviously plagued by “white guilt” and has bought into this “white privileged” nonsense. He is not fit to be a leader.
Paul, may I call you Paul? what I find heartbreaking is that around 40% of this country has inhabitants(because many are not citizens) that are functionally illiterate with IQ’s 80 or below, who contribute nothing to maintaining a civil society and continually take and tear down. And the rest of us are starting to feel like a little taken advantage of. Would you share MY perspective to your friends in Charlotte for me? Thanks a bunch.
Things are going well for Trump and the New GOP...
It must be time for the “Girly Man” to open his mouth and say something pointless.
Racial insight from a Wisconsin cheese-head. Great.
Multiculturalism, Relativism and Rationalization is what got us here, Ryan. More of it ain’t gonna help.
I understand what they are thinking. That is NOT the problem. The problem is, that I perfectly understand is that WHAT they are thinking is wrong, based on lies, perpetrated by a whole host of people who benefit from all this.
