Brad Pitt's Side of the Story: He 'Did Not Hit' Maddox as Plane Fight with Angelina Jolie
People ^

After 12 years and six kids together, Angelina Jolie files for divorce from Brad Pitt just after their two-year wedding anniversary. Subscribe now for the real story behind the split, only in PEOPLE.

Brad Pitt did not strike his son Maddox during a heated mid-flight argument with Angelina Jolie last week, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Pitt is accused of being "verbally abusive" and getting "physical" with one of his children on the family's private plane last Wednesday, a source previously told PEOPLE.

The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is investigating the 52-year-old after the alleged incident was reported to them anonymously. The case has also been referred to the FBI under special aircraft jurisdiction due to the incident being mid-flight.

"The FBI is continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued," the FBI said in a statement.

Now the source with knowledge of the incident is speaking exclusively to PEOPLE about Pitt's side of the story.

The FBI is getting involved. This is sounding serious. I’m still wondering if it’s all about another woman though. What do you think Fungi?

One realizes, of course, that summing the IQ of these two “people” would produce a two digit answer.

Angelina isnt divorcing Brad because he hit one of their kids. More likely he demanded she eat a cheeseburger. Married to Skelator who refuses to get treatment would drive me to drinking too. Its just sad.

It’s true that Angelina projects an image of Hollywood fluff and neurotic excess, but I think of the two, her IQ would be far higher.
When she wants to be serious, she can be very helpful toward certain social causes, like Breast Cancer. Her dad, Jon Voight is still very active at 77, and a deep thinker. He even dares to be an
‘out’ conservative in Hollywood. Of course, he has already made is millions, and can say what he wants.

Angelina is a good person who does a lot more good than I do.

She made the movie “Unbroken”, a story which may have never been told otherwise.

She calls ISIS for what they are and in much harsher terms than our own president.

I like her.

Liberals dont direct movies like Unbroken. The cruelty of the Japanese soldier was horrific in the movie!

The divorce of John and Ethel down the street is just as IMPORTANT as the divorce between those two....

My wife and I have owned a “private” plane for decades, a small Piper Cherokee. 25 years ago we took off from where we were keeping it in Western Washington to go on a trip to Southern California. There was a warm front coming in from the ocean so I made a bee line for the mountain pass to avoid a low visibility situation.

As soon as we got across the mountains we turned South and headed for California. My wife had been upset, because as we were taking off a woman on a horse who was riding near the runway waved at us. I had never seen her before, but my wife became convinced that her wave indicated that the two of us were having some sort of relationship.

My wife started yelling at me, and it was kind of escalating from there, but about that time God intervened. As the warm moist air pushed its way across the mountains it reached high altitudes and thunder clouds began sprouting up near us. One minute she was yelling at me and the next there was lightning uncomfortably close to our plane and nasty turbulence. We both thanked God for being fortunate enough to have an airplane and promised not to fight any more.

I kept diverting further east to get around the bad weather until we finally ended up over North Western corner of Utah before we were finally able to head back West to California. Our trip South would have been just as fast in the car.

Angelina wants to solve all the world’s problems but she cannot even solve her own. She’s 41 and already been through three husbands.

Angelina, Instead of you wanting to take all those refugees here, why don’t you just go live with them?

They raise their oldest daughter as a boy and have done so since she was a toddler. Of course their lives are a mess.

I’m starting to like Brad Pitt and identifying with him.

My dad was all army golden gloves back in WWII and he drug me and my brother all over this planet after the war....Where when we acted stupid, he slapped or punched us more stupid until me and my brother got the hint.

Then he introduced us to the whole world where we were accepted and we learned to accept all cultures and ENJOYED their grace and they enjoyed us and we enjoyed them.

Americans today can’t travel anywhere safely....I blame us.

This is SOP for divorce lawyers; have the soon-to-be ex-wife throw child-abuse charges against the wall and see what sticks.

Man, I feel your pain. Every time I get a casual “hi” from a woman, my wife thinks something’s going on with us!
