For me, it was 1959 in San Diego, watching Mother's little B/W 13" at the ripe old age of 3. I remember watching Sky King and The Untouchables, then, too, with Wal-ter Win-chell setting up the stories For Eliot Ness and the boys... Also Neville Brand as Capone. Brand was cool on Laredo, too, I loved that show!

And, don’t forget Combat with Vic Morrow!
(We were not allowed to have TV in our dorm rooms. So we put casters on a bureau after removing the guts of the drawers, leaving only the drawer face, and placed a TV on a table inside. Roll the “bureau” aside, and we packed them in to watch Combat, Untouchables, Honeymooners. Lots of aluminum foil to get the antenna signal). Great college dorm times!
