One mean woman. Just think how awful the #nevertrumpers and remaining Cruzers feel.

Perfect post. I love it.......

Excellent statement by Cruz. I will be able to quote many paragraphs from it when I send political points to acquaintances still on the fence between voting for Hillary or staying home.

I refer to them as "acquaintances" because all my FRIENDS are for Trump, LOL.

Anyone voting for Hillary is a traitor to the United States of America; just my opinion.

Thanks for doing the right thing, Ted!!

I’d like to see John Kasich come aboard, too, given the importance of Ohio, both before and after the election!!!!

Too little too late.

I’m glad to see he finally did it, but I think it’s nothing more than damage control. I was one of those who thought Cruz would have made a good VP for Trump, and said so on FR quite a few times.

Once he morphed his campaign from “Elect me” to “Stop Trump”, he lost my support entirely, then when he refused to endorse Trump, until now and it’s a really weak endorsement, I lost all trust in Cruz. He should have done this the day after Trump was nominated.

I’m glad to see him decide to vote for Trump, even though it’s not really en endorsement, just an admission to vote for him. We need all the help we can get. But I still will not be able to trust Cruz any more.

As with everything that Ted Cruz says and writes, his post speaks for itself. Cruz is a man of precision and clarity. The voices of reason this afternoon said: "read what he wrote and note what he did not write".

Defeating Hillary Clinton is the objective, since Donald Trump is a better alternative. Cruz did not say how much better.

Cruz did not speak to Trump's character or say that Trump would make a good President. That would be expected from a conventional endorsement.

Cruz only said that Trump was better than the alternative.

Saying that he also did this in order to keep a promise, out of obligation, also sends a message.

Cruz did not speak of Israel as a point of distinction between Hillary and Trump. That is telling, as well.

In my view, Ted Cruz did us all a service. He gave his support to the candidate that would do less harm to the country in a time of national peril. For the careful reader, he also let us know what he thinks about both candidates.

And yes, Trump's persona has been house-trained, somewhat, since August by Kellyann Conway & Co.

May this be the last hold-your-nose Presidential election.

Eye-roll, his money pool must be all but dried up. He will always be a con man to me.
