I had grasshoppers in Puerto vallarta, Mexico, at a very high-class restaurant.

The first crunchy bites were pretty good. But it didn’t grow on me. I don’t plan a repeat performance.

They are called “chilaquilles” in Baja California. I was in a good restaurant there and there were at least 5 different types of Huevos Rancheros with chilaquilles on the menu. I will give it a try next time.

I had the same in Toluca, Mexico. A once in a lifetime experience.
