(Vanity)(Hillary's Jet) Any executive pilots on FR ?

Ever since Loretta Lynch met Bill Clinton at the end of June this year, I've been really bothered by something. Compelled to meditate on it and figure it out.

I'm having some trouble, and need to ask for Freerepublic input.

Loretta Lynch met Bill Clinton on the tarmac, and Bill entered Loretta's FBI-owned Government plane. There are reports of them entering a 3rd plane but nothing seems to support that claim.

Now that we're all caught up, I'll let you know that I've been wracking my brain on this one. But one of the more sublime enigmas came more recently. After Hillary's September 11th .. Death, I guess. I mean the woman looked like she died. She was talking to the press aboard another jet.

I'm reminded of Hillary's photos aboard "Dan Bilzerian's private jet". More about that in a moment.

The September 12th jet was a piece of junk. Seriously. It was a retired passenger jet. And not even a recently retired one. Where did this jet come from ? How did she go from Bilzerian's jet, to this boneyard candidate while Slick Willy is cruising around a private jet.. like.. Private jet ... on his own ATC and traffic terms ?

I've been going movie-style insane on this. So much so that I've been looking at jets. I've been watching videos of them. Learning everything I could. I learned a bit about buying a jet, and owning a jet.

A Jet is stupid expensive. When I say "Stupid expensive" a private jet is one of those things that can never, ever solve a problem efficiently. Buying a jet for your own use is outlandishly foolish. The costs - even outside of the cost of crew - are staggering. A private jet is a blackhole of money for the foolish rich.

But I learned that when you buy a jet, you can offset costs by loaning it out, or leasing it out to millionaire clubs that share jets. It ensures that a jet is available to you, albeit perhaps not your jet. That is how Hillary wound up in "Bilzerian's" jet. He can't afford this thing hanging out hemorrhaging money so he makes it available to be flown and rented out - basically.

Even Trump does the same thing. His 737 has been flown around the country to help people not because people have a direct line to his office, and he doesn't personally dispatch that jet to far off lands to help struggling parents get their sick kids from coast to coast. I'm sure he would if he could, but that's not how those transactions go down. You don't get to call him up, and he doesn't just send his 737 (with costs running in the $25k+ per hour) out willy nilly. I mean, again - I'm sure he would were he asked to but his plane was simply available for that service - at that time. Trump doesn't hemorrhage money.

Why is Hillary on this really, really old passenger jet now ? Was she kicked out of their private jet club ? Did she have to buy another jet ? Is her jet under observation ? Is it bugged ? The Clinton foundation either has enough for a fleet of it's own plane, or it can't afford the 20 million necessary to pick up a Gulfstream.

Executive pilots - What say you ? Did Bill do something that got the Clintons kicked out of the executive airplane club ?

" Trump’s bigger airplane IS permittinghim to get to 3-6 campaign events every day, with all the staff and crew - and a better-rested candidate! - in one place at different cities quickly."

And often he leverages that by having the event at a hangar so he lands, rolls in, disembarks and does his speech. Wicked time efficient, no wasted motion, no motorcades, additional security, and in a post 9/11 world airports area a more secure setting to begin with ( Now access to rest rooms for those attending is a different story, but let that go ).

An additional plus is the wow factor, it has TRUMP on it, it is all Alpha Male, all the time. In a land of DeBalled Pajama Boys and Sensitivity Training it is refreshing because we know subconsciously that Winning ='s Alpha Male and my guess is the left gets that too, and he stops the feminization and PCification of our culture in it's tracks by that subliminal and it must drive them bonkers.

My guess is by looking at the crowds trying to get in via the RSBN pre-game line walks of talking to the rally attendees the late teen 20 something males their get it too, they want to succeed in life and not be apron stringed to death and gravitate to his Alpha Male role model and his message of it is ok to succeed and the journey to success is cool as well.

It is almost like he is rehearsing for POTUS because Trump-Force1 is a preview of him riding on AirForce one, it puts you in the mindset, "yes I can see him as POTUS"....

It is Brilliant...

You can only rent a Jet if it’s registered part 135 private owners register part 91 the difference is part 135 is more regulated because it’s not your plane part 91 is looser restrictions if you want to use a shorter runway that’s your decision because you are only putting yourself at risk not passengers

Mike Pence’s jet was rented too, I believe.

But you don’t just call a number and rent a jet.

Sure you can. It's expensive (by the standards of most of us) but if you have the money, it can be done.

The only reason Killary is flying around in this worn out 60s painted up plane is to put the illusion of "poor destitute me" out there to the crowd of sheeple.

That is it in a nutshell. Now you can use your brain power on something more useful like why is water wet and dirt dry until water is mixed with it.

Pretty sure Hillary’s 737 is a older model.
There’s a family of 737s. IFAIK all the newer models have engine nacelles that are flat across the bottom,ie the 737-800.
Her 737 nacelles are round. IMO makes this a very dated plane.

OTOH the 757 Trump has is the best. Very powerful rocket.
The few times I fly I check around to see if the airline has a 757 flying to my destination and book accordingly.
Sadly they are falling out of favor as they are narrow body. Can’t carry the large number of passengers the airlines want.
Delta still flies them.

Telling Phoenix ATC that you want to hang out a bit to say hi to a friend isn’t something that normally happens.

You're inventing things. ATC isn't involved once you are parked. Every airport has transient aircraft parking for hours or days or more.

“AFAIK Trump has a 757.”

After reading my stuff the next morning I was totally unclear on the Trump thing.

His private jet, as far as I know, isn’t what I assume people get to fly in all of these great stories about him helping them. I’m pretty sure Trump’s businesses own more jets. So I don’t think his big plane with the TRUMP emblazoned on the side and the gold cup holders is going into that pool.

Pence is renting, likely renting from Trump if I had to guess. That’s how Trump works. Donald likely rents his jet from himself.

Ok, I wasn’t aware of the nuances of flight plans, expirations and etiquette. I thought everyone had to fall into their departure slots.

I bet he puts it in NJ because NY is just filled up. I can’t imagine what a few feet of hangar space would cost in NYC. Boat slips are thousands per month, could only imagine.

The Heinz mansion on the property isn’t enough for me to scream out Alex Jones style - I just can’t figure out the amazing coincidence or that there must be some sort of family history here that is secret. And it doesn’t have to be bad history - Maybe the Heinz family HATES Teresa and John. Again, I can’t imagine anyone liking those two vultures.

General aviation (GA) has many levels, the top tier is jet aircraft - and there are multiple levels of jet aircraft. It mostly gets down to size and range.

Are jets expensive? Yes.

Can people/companies afford them? Yes.

They pay for themselves in time saved.

As another poster pointed out Trump can make 3-5 campaign stops a day.

As for your ‘old’ jet comment... It may be old, but it’s certified to fly which means it’s mechanically new and sound.

Aircraft are expensive due to governmental regulation. Sure the parts are inherently expensive but a single valve for a Continental four or six cylinder aircraft engine would not cost $400.00+ without government red tape and regulatory compliance.

GA has many ‘old’ aircraft that have not been manufactured for more than 30 years that are in great demand and are highly efficient - the Mitsubishi MU-2 and the Twin Commander 1000 for instance.

Take a $4,000,000 Cessna M2 flying out of the Vail airport (it’s short and at 6,500 feet in altitude). With one pilot and seven passengers the aircraft can fly to Chicago if it takes off before the temperature hits 60F.

The Twin Commander (NOT a jet but twin turboprop) can handle the same number of crew/passengers and can take off safely at 100F and fly to New York, The Bahamas or Miami (at 100 MPH slower, I admit) but it can do the trip with one additional passenger: the aircraft can do this flight with only one engine and the other prop inside the fuselage...quite a safety margin there!

Presidential political campaigns need heavy metal and they both have it. In January Trump will still own his 757 and Hillary will still be renting G4’s (if anyone will rent them for her). I expect Trump is moving up to a 747...and I will be happy to have him in it.

Usually what happens with passenger jets that have reached their maximum cycles (a cycle is one take off and landing) they’re picked up by leasing agents either to be sold or scrapped. When one buys a bizjet as an example they usually do a lease-back where the plane is available to be leased out when the buyer is not using it. This gives some income back to the buyer and the maintenance is done by the lease back org. You can find out how some things work by going to https://wheelsup.com/ - this will give you some idea how this works. I’m not in tune on how it all works since I fly them, not buy them. :)

Sorry that I made the whole Trump airplane part of my post unclear. I seriously doubt Trump rents out his big plane, the one that costs that much.

‘The Drumpf and Heinz familys were close in Kallstadt’

Why refer to Trump as Drumpf? This is what my Lib ‘friends’ call him. And I don’t get the reference.

“1. It may be that Hillary wanted a plane that resembled the shape of Air Force One during the 70’s.
2. This airplane is being funded by the DNC.
3. It is a rental”

Consider what has come out about David Brock’s money laundering operations. I’m sure that the DNC is renting the plane through at least one agent. The agent gets a cut and the plane owner makes a fee.

Both the agent and the owner can now make contributions to the Clinton Foundation or the DNC. Doing it this way spreads money around to DemocRat cronies.

Elections are big money-makers for the elite insiders.

Hillary had to hire a flying bus to haul around the press posse. They won’t fit into a Gulfstream.

Trump is the Americanized, Ellis-Island version of the family name, which is Drumpf.

Libs call him that because of Jon Stewart’s gang of @$$holes who think it somehow denigrates him to use his family name.

The Drumpf family is a big deal throughout the more recent (400 years) Bavarian history.

Trump is a political new-comer, but comes from a lineage of leaders and power brokers. Which I’m fine with because it’s the “Politicians” who are the problem. Elites, who become elite based on merit and respect are what I want running my country.

You know, if I can’t :)

” I’m not in tune on how it all works since I fly them, not buy them. :)”

Does any of what I’m talking about sound to you as though the Clinton family has fallen totally out of grace with these executive jet leasing companies / executive sky clubhouses ?

All of the input in this thread is great - I’ve learned quite a bit. But the question still remains in my mind : What is Hillary doing on a plane that looks like the inside of a Metro-North railcar ?

She’s still the Secretary of State, and she has more money than Obama did during his campaign. Obama got a plane and put his little logo on the tail and everything. Why is Hillary flying in something with an economy / coach seating ?
