I wondered, also, what a pie welder was in my younger years when I waxed philosophic over the the meaning welding pies together while playing the popular ‘70s song, “American Pie.”

‘Pie welder,’ according to this website,

is a ‘circo.’

‘Circo’ at this website
http://dictionary.reverso.net/spanish-english/circo
translates into the word, ‘circus.’

So where ever you find pie welding you will find a circus nearby with clowns throwing pies.
